Quinnipiac University Athletics Motion Graphics
The design brief for the Quinnipiac University Athletics Department was to design and produce a series of three separate motion graphics and animations for their department as well as Division I Men's and Women's Hockey and Basketball teams that embodied the traditions, pride and spirit of the university and its world-class athletics and showcased the visual splendor of their newly installed High-Definition scoreboards.
The Quinnipiac Bobcats are the nineteen sports teams representing Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and track and field; women's-only field hockey, golf, softball, and volleyball; and men's- only baseball. The Bobcats compete in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, joining on July 1, 2013 after being in the Northeast Conference.
Quinnipiac Athletics has numerous branding compliance procedures as well as policies for the dimensions and standards for the digital and motion graphics scoreboard displays. All items and policies were adhered to and considered during the research and implementation phases of the design this process.
