Abstract Photography Expo Calendar Poster
One project in my Advanced Type Design & Production course was to create a calendar poster for either a theater or a sports team that incorporated at least 20 dates of tabular data combined with self-shot photography as the background. It was imperative to find a strong balance of type and imagery to create an ideal composition for this project.
Final Design
I wanted my overall design to use a limited color palette, have dynamic typographical treatment and exude an abstract and sophisticated mood. I began the visual research portion of my design process by observing work from other designers on Behance and Pinterest.
